Greetings Barry, To properly respond to your question I feel I must clarify the word " anti " . I can probably give an example of the use of this word to give a far clearer meaning than I could pen. If I started a bookstore in a city and someone came along beside me and opened another bookstore , that person would be anti-Robert. Similarly this word " anti-christ " describes any other means or methods to establish rightousness with Almighty God contrary to the only way He has provided, that being through faith in His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ.1John 4:3 states, And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the anti-christ, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. 1 John2:22 states, Who is the liar but the one who denies thar Jesus is the Christ?.
