Economy of Russia - you were able to get a piece of it at 1998 prices this year thanks to blatantly manipulative credit ratings by thoroughly discredited US credit rating agencies that rated subprime debt AAA before it blew up. Yes, the GDP of Russia grew 6-fold since then in real terms. Russia happens to be #4 holder of US debt as well. They even downgraded Russia because it holds US debt, and didn't downgrade US.
