How's your 3-6am temperature?

I've had a low body temperature all my life. I first discovered that when I was hospitalized for pneumonia when I was thirteen and the nurses were all confused over my temperature readings. It runs about two degrees low. 96.8 is normal for me.

I've also been very heat intolerant all my life. Spent summers in the basement with a truckload of books when I was kid back before air conditioning. I'm in short sleeve shirts outdoors when the thermometer reaches the mid fifties and complaining about the heat at about seventy.

There is plenty of evidence and opinion out there that having a lower temperature, slower heartbeat, etc. are good things because your body doesn't have to work as hard over a lifetime. So there are two sides to the question. I can't reconcile them or decide between them so I stand pat with my 1.7 TSH and play the hand I was dealt.
