If his spending stimulated the economy why were you so against it?

Government spending does not stimulate the economy. I suppose a case could be made that war time spending stimulates parts of the economy.

Whether you and your ilk want to admit it Bush oversaw one of the longest running expansions in the economy. Just like the stock market when you have that much growth for that long you end up with excesses that need to be eliminated from the system. We aren't allowing the excesses to leave. Obama's teleprompter is trying to keep business from failing and trying to keep houses from being repossessed. In other words he is not allowing the excesses to be wiped from our economy. So he is spending a shit load of money and only delaying and perhaps intensifying the inevitable contraction to come IMO.

Best example I've heard is he's taking a 5 gallon pail of water from the deep end of the pool and walking to the shallow end to dump it back in. He and the fools in the House and Senate are pissing into the wind and WASTING MY FUCKING MONEY!
