Cause you know, doing nothing isn't an alternative. The Republicans should stand up and say they're in favor of doing nothing, see how that works out for them. Though, to his credit John Boehner more or less said as much during the stimulus debate: politico.com “Government can’t solve this problem,” You gotta love that Republican "can't do" spirit.
