That's not reality. Many countries can afford to pay a lot more for drugs. The market for drugs has evolved to a national market.. with governments negotiating with the drug companies. The US is the outlier... so we are the market distortion.

If the US paid "world market prices" through negotiation the drug companies would have to raise prices across the board. Not exactly a shocking concept in a capitalist marketplace.


Yeah, that's why Great Britain just decided they can't afford to offer the current chemo regimes for certain breast cancers because they're took expensive. Which serves only to increase the cost of the same medications -- if we are to have them -- to US patients.

As I said, you just don't have what it takes to grasp these concepts. And you have proven this time and time again.
