I don't buy your slippery slope. People don't become doctors to kill. They do become doctors to be merciful. Of course there are always head cases and there are always abuses in any venue. Doctors have been known to kill people now even though assisted suicide is not sanctioned. But your suggestion that it could become mainstream to kill just doesn't resonate with me. I don't think your fear is realistic.
