I just called Schwab regarding the Japan market. They read me a newswire stating that the Nikkei "morning session" closed at 16,933.37. I don't normally follow this market, but that terminology implies to me that it closes for lunch. Does anyone know? BTW, the 52-week Nikkei low is 16,863.54.
