Berkshire Hathaway has the majority of its assets in those funny intangible things and they seem to do just fine. It's all a question of sensible management, especially risk management. Size in and of itself does not necessarily aggregate risk or weakness; but big outfits doing bad things will fall harder, naturally.

If Taleb focused on something more than a pithy sound-bite pronouncement, we might learn something from a more differentiated view.
