Hawk, 7 degrees celsius is like a 13 degree Faranheit increase. If that was a global average increase and people had no where to run to, then it would be catastrophic. The desert can support life, but MUCH LESS life than a temperate region. The human race would shrink in size dramatically. No doubt about it.
