RW, I'm confused. Terrorism is a pimple on your ass, but you were not for "doing nothing"?

The 'pimple on our ass' statement, from the first time I used it, was always relative to our other problems. Compared to the pain and yes death that a breakdown in our economy will cause, terrorism is nothing. Compared to cancer, terrorism is nothing. Compared to the national security issue of importing 3/4 of our oil terrorism is nothing.

If a serial killer is on the loose of course it's not the most important issue in the world, but of course I'm not for "doing nothing". On the other hand I'm not for destroying ourselves trying to destroy the serial killer.
