The "arrogant American attitude". I think Americans are justified in feeling proud of their country. We've fostered liberty both by example and actively liberating others. We've stood up and been willing to fight against tyrannical regimes and empires that deserve to be called evil. We've always been willing to help in humanitarian causes. We've fostered free enterprise as well, which has enriched billions of people.

Yeah, we're not perfect and we've had our faults and problems but we've also been more prepared than most to correct those.

All in all, I think we have little if anything to apologize for .... whatever faults foreigners can have with us are dwarfed by the benefits we've given the world.

The US is definately the most beneficient world power in human history. Why not recognize that and be proud of it?
