Yes, one doesn't hear of many junior producers that are profitable, are buying back shares these days and have little/no LT debt.

I can only construe these 3 characteristics as very positive for the MDN shareholder going forward.

As for MTO, who has just completed a $12 million offering, the new capital will allow them to meet their goal of ramping up to a rate of 70,000 ounces in production by July 2010, just a little more than a year from now.

As mentioned in this report, there is a likelihood of some positive news in the near term. I'm guessing that's why Sprott and Goodman don't mind holding 1/3 of the 100 million outstanding shares.

Disclosure: I have been and continue to accumulate MTO and MDN as, assuming POG of $850 to $1,500 over the next 1 to 2 years, the risk/reward rato appears outstandingly favourable to me.
