>Why wasn't he roasted on mainstream media until recently? Total coincidence?

Why weren't any of them roasted on mainstream media until recently? Because the markets were going up and the financial types were like gods! Things changed when the media (which by and large is made up of a bunch of morons) found out at the same time as the "experts" that the markets can go down...

>Is that your way of avoiding the fact that the Obama administration is particularly thin-skinned?

Huh? No! It had NOTHING to do with Obama (except for a little snark from Gibbs). Rick Santelli went on CNBC to try to incite the floor of the Chicago exchange to have a "tea party." It was absurd. Jon Stewart then tried to have him on his show and Santelli accepted but cancelled at the last minute. Stewart went on to skewer Santelli and CNBC in general and Cramer jumped in. It started a great battle between Stewart and Cramer and Joe Scarborough. Great comedy and also a lot of good insight from Stewart. Cramer ultimately got his ass kicked.

I take it you don't watch Stewart these days. He's been all over Obama about the bailouts and about Iraq and Afghanistan. He's not been good to Obama at all. Better than he was to Bush, but Bush deserved every bit of derision he's ever gotten.
