Fred,

You mentioned in your post that you purchased shares of Bangkok Bank. Can you tell me how I can buy Thai stocks (as opposed to ADR's)? Do I need to establish a brokerage account with a Thai bank or can US brokers buy shares on the Bangkok exchange for me? Are the shares of Thai blue chips considered "marginable" securities?

As for the Thai ADR's, is the selection of ADRs very extensive? Don't most of them trade on the "pink sheet" bulletin board (which means mile-wide spreads and hardcore volatility)?

Any insight you could provide into these matters would be greatly appreciated!

Aaron
