I didn't say that at all. I said it's a "freak" occurrence when an abortion performed after viability kills a survivable entity, let alone a healthy one.

From Webster: "freak" -- "one that is markedly unusual or abnormal."

As for whether any "should h/b killed," IMO, any painfully dying creature should be eased out of this world as gently as possible. It is despicably inhumane to let them suffer. Even cowboys in black hats shoot horses that break their legs.
