that for years gay comics made fun of as something they're glad they do not have to endure. Civil unions already cover the legal points - now it's a fight over words. DING DING DING another winner. They want the WORD marriage in addition to the same legal status. Hate to say it, but as it was traditionally defined, it does not apply to same sex unions.
