Yes - they are I think more tolerant - but the most popular phrase in High School is 'That's gay', 'Mr. so and so is Gay'. I never say those things around my kids and I cringe when they say it and remind them it's not very nice. I wish Obama would put his money where his mouth is and move to make civil unions happen in all 50 now - he said he's for them - so put up buddy.
