<<<I am from the midwest, I am from a protestant church and I have NOT ever been exposed to one word that would represent hate coming from any of the ministers of my church or any church I have attended. >>>

I am from the east coast and I have to agree with you in that I have never been exposed to any hate coming from any of the clergy from churches I have attended. However, the amount of hate coming from people who attend church on a regular basis is amazing to me.

Most people who attend church know they are not supposed to hate but RW radio has given them a vocabulary and a set of twisted logic that allow them to hate without feeling guilty.

They no longer hate "niggers", "spics", "queers" etc.

They only hate terrorists, preferential treatment, illegal aliens, entitlement seekers, irresponsible borrowers, unwed mothers, etc. In other words, there is a whole set of code words and phrases that RW fear mongers have developed to make it okay to hate. They make it sound like it is your patriotic duty to hate certain groups of people. It is all very insidious.
