UK government is seeking proposals "to rapidly identify, develop and demonstrate new approaches and technologies": "To detect and characterise adversary activities (recruitment, training, planning, procurement, preparation & operations) that are currently hidden from view (either because they are unobservable by current sensors or because they cannot be resolved from the background noise) with sufficient accuracy, confidence and timeliness to enable UK forces to deter, disrupt, defeat or mitigate these activities. Specific challenges include: identifying & tracking objects of interest in a complex environment looking through, under & behind things achieving persistence making best use of, and integrating with, existing/planned systems affordability" 74.125.95.132 The call for proposals and expressions of interest mentions passive EO and active EO so I thought this might be of interest to those interested in LWLG.
