There are a couple years of history there. We'll see how things go there.

So it's counterproductive to rely on models from the past. We look to the future and analyze different models to see what could work. Or we don't plan anything and just wait for events to overtake us.

I think its good to learn what we can from history. And re. "models from the past" we ought to be respectful of them.

Suffering and dying and caring for the suffering and dying isn't something new in human affairs.
