I saw Gran Torino alone and was a little hesitant to take my wife, thinking she wouldn't like the way it ended.

I did take her, and she loved it for the same reasons I did. I thought it was a wonderful story of redemption, forgiveness, and standing up for what's right.

It also exposed the left wing line that only white people are prejudiced or racist. I think that's why it didn't receive accolades from the Narcissist Admiration Academy.
