I don't think you really know what you're talking about Taro. Set the suspension to "cush". Touring on my VFR, which is similar ergonomically to the Ducati, you drape yourself over the gas tank, basically laying on it on your stomach. Your hands fall quite naturally to the clip-on handlebars. The rear set footpegs are right where your feet want to be. You're behind the little fairing, shielded from the wind. Eight hours was nothing.. Sometimes I got so relaxed, I'd start to nod off! Then, pull out and score some coffee..
