It's better than inertia, which is what the Fantasy President crowd would have predicted based on their general characterizations.

But I would definitely like to see some hot pursuit of the pirates back into their lairs. With an attack on a US-flagged vessel, we are totally entitled to self-defense.

And if we don't see that, I won't lose sleep thinking we have abandoned defense of the homeland either. It's a judgment call move.
