The point of monetization is to stabilize real estate, commodity, and other prices against further sharp declines. Once prices stabilize, or begin to move up, it time to remove the sterilize the monetized amounts though a variety of methods. It's amusing that so many believe we now have serious inflation on our hands as prices tumble. Just as many of these same people were willing to believe we were experiencing price stability when the price of real estate and raw materials quadrupled. Sometimes it's just better to believe actual reality than "the story". .
