it is important to note that falling Velocity is a RESULT of increased demand for money, it is not a CAUSE of anything Hmm.. so would you say that velocity represents increased demand for assets? Because if your demand for money is decreasing, then it means you're hoping to trade it for real property, right? Seems to jibe with Mauldin, IMO.. we need to increase demand for assets and that can only happen by decreasing demand for money. Hawk
