Likely not. But, what RoadWalker is trying to say is they won't have the choice. We will be back to the days where layaway was king. You won't be able to get stuff until it is paid for, in full. Not before you have put up the first dime, like now.


You and RW may be right but I have to tell you I have seen no real change to the credit lines on my credit cards. One or two of my credit cards reduced their lines somewhat. I have seen no change in the size of minimum mo. payments. I don't get as many solicitations for credit cards but I still get them.

Do you mean people will be forced to use layaway because they can't afford to run up their credit? Now that I can see happening.
