The AP is reporting that President Obama gave the order to use military force to rescue the hostage, that is misleading. They want so desperately for the community organizer to become a real hero. The BBC too. But President Obama could have ordered them not to fire, and he didn't do that, so he deserves some credit. Otherwise, he just got lucky this time. What's that saying? Better lucky than good?
