I don't know if roads and bridges are high-profile enough to make it to Internet posting status but I can speak from what I saw over thirteen months in SE Asia in '07(+). Many highways were signed as being built w/ Japanese aid either jointly or wholly. I think I saw one Scandinavian attribution on the ground but tens or dozens of Japanese. It seems like every bridge across the Mekong between Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam was built w/ at least partial Japanese assistance.
