Yes, innocent people die in wars. That can't be avoided.

But no nation in the history of the world has been more careful about avoiding the loss of innocent life. Each successive American war exponentially reduces the incidence of civilian casualties.

Contrast this with our enemies who deliberately attacked and killed more than 3,000 innocents on 9/11 -- something America would never do.
