"Although they might be introducing "SparQ" at Comdex, I seriously doubt it. I have serious doubts that such a product
exists. I also have serious doubts about whether or not such a product would even help SyQuest. They've failed
miserably at competing with Iomega, even when they had a size, speed and/or price advantage. The last thing they need
is another Jaz-killer. They need to find their own niche and go for it. Rocket might be that niche."

IMO the 1GB SparkQ is not intended to be a Jazz-Killer, it should be a Zip Killer. If it comes true, the price performance difference, should enable, that possible zip users buy a sparkq.
This represents the mass market and I am convinced that would help Syquest. The question remains how they will be able to build a drive for such a low price. And if syquest can build it for low costs, then also Iomega should be able to do it with the Jazz.

" I think that SparQ is factored into the stock price (but oddly enough I don't think the Rocket is yet). If SparQ *ISN'T*
intruduced at Comdex, watch for a big drop. If it is, watch for a small drop. (People buy on rumor and sell on news.
SparQ at Comdex or the lack thereof will be news.)"

I think you are 100% correct in this point. IMO there are no new news I can think of, which have the capability to push syquest over 6$ again. The way for the stock price will be free, but to the downside.

Thank you again for your earlier comments. Therefore I immediatly went out at 5.5$. Without them, I think I would have dreamed on, and would still sit on my syquest shares.
