You are wrong about Keynesian economics, much less the neoclassical synthesis which many, including yourself, label as Keynesian economics. The intent was to manage the economy to reach full employment and a growing economy. The fact that nitwit politicians didn't follow the model and flew the economy into the ground was not the fault of the neoclassical synthesis and the ISLM model.

It was the fault of nitwit politicians.
