The difference is just one of degree: <Cuba and the US are not even on the same scale of freedom.>

Sort of like the Berlin wall with people not allowed to go from east to west: <Restrictions imposed by the Bush administration had limited Cuban travel by Americans to just two weeks every three years. Visits also were confined to immediate family members.>

Freedom means individuals decide for themselves where they want to go. Maybe the place they want to go to won't have them [fair enough] but being a state serf and not allowed to go somewhere else is not freedom.

Obama has made another sensible decision.
