During the Katrina aftermath, there was a news report on how this one wealthy donor set up a charter flight from New Orleans to Los Angeles. There was no one on the flight except dogs that were abandoned during the evacuation, then later rescued by relief workers. Some dog haters out there could have pointed out how this was a humongous waste of money, but I think most Americans would agree that rescuing dogs is a good thing. ;-) Tenchusatsu
