FARMINGDALE, N.Y., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Misonix Incorporated
(Nasdaq: MSON) today announced that its Mystaire Air Pollution Control
division has received an order for $1.1 million to supply a gas treatment
system for a new semiconductor gas production plant. The system is designed
to neutralize contaminants produced during various gas handling operations.
Misonix's Mystaire division specializes in designing and manufacturing
"problem-specific" air pollution control systems.
Dr. Joseph Librizzi, President of Misonix, said, "This order marks a
milestone for Misonix, as it is the single largest air pollution system order
ever received by our Mystaire division. We are pleased to receive this order,
as it reflects our ability to penetrate the growing air pollution abatement
market."
Misonix, Inc. develops, manufactures, and/or markets medical, scientific,
and industrial ultrasonic and air pollution systems.
