Oh sure, Krushchev apparently won a debate or something, big deal.

Krushchev held a series of private meetings with JFK in Vienna right after the election and found out he was both a Foreign Affairs ignoramus and a weakling. His reaction to the Bay of Pigs confirmed his weakness. That weakness on the part of JFK turned the cold war hot and almost caused a nuclear exchange.

We need a Prez who lets the world know that "you don't tug on Superman's cape!" Perceived weakness leads to agressive actions by our enemies. That is why North Korea and Iran are so contemptous of the the US right now. They see Obama as an appeaser.

If we leave NK and Iran to do as they please, sometime in the coming decades it could lead to one of them being responsible for a nuclear event here in the US. The risk of this is too high to be ignored. We can't negotiate our way out of it with them.
