Fox had a story on today about a device cities are using to exterminate burrowing rodents in parks and arboretums. The device injects a gas comprised of 97% oxygen and 3% propane into the burrow, where it is ignited by an electric spark from the probe. It causes a concussive explosion, with lights out for the rodents. No pain, no suffering.

The Rodentator.

Of course, the PETA and Humane Society types are up in arms about it.

As for terrorists, I think a predator drone does a pretty good job at the task.
