In all seriousness, it would be nice if there were more passenger trains. During vacation in England their trains were a good mode of transportation for a tourist who is leary of driving on the left side of the road. With improved rail that runs faster than current rail this would be faster than the Interstate and cheaper than air. But I'm not sure the US citizen would support this, and if the government pays for it it would just be handout to the few who do. This should be a capitalist venture, not a government one.
