I calculated my own estimate of the attendance at our Tea Party: Square Feet Per Person based on 4x4 personal space 16 Square Feet Per Acre 43560 Number of persons per acre 2722.5 (43560/16) Estimated size of rally site 1.5 acres plus or minus 0.5 acre, from estimate derived on Google Earth. Estimated number of people Best estimate = 4080 (2722.5*1.5) Low estimate = 2720 High Estimate = 8160 My personal on site estimate was about 2500-3000, which is closer to the low end of the range. Now I will try to find out and report the official estimate. Local media types reported "hundreds."
