You are being disingenuos. The reason Reagan became President was because taxes were too hign and government spending was two high. Johnson was the last high water mark for the Dems. Where I got taken was that I thought the Republicans really would reduce the deficit and the size of government. Well fool me once shame on you - fool me twice shame on me. But the point is we will never know if Keynes is right because every government that claims to follow his principles manages the spending part well but never pays down the debt. lj
