Wrong again, Kenneth...

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? You are trying to imply that these appointments are life-time in nature. They are not. Appointments are used as a vehicle for retiring judges. After that, once the 6 year term is up, these judges MUST run for reelection.

Let me show you again:
The state court system was rearranged in 1858 when Minnesota became a state, and justices are now elected to six-year terms unless a mid-term vacancy occurs, in which case the governor appoints a replacement to finish the term. Justices have a mandatory retirement age of 70.

So while 3 of the justices were appointed by Governor Tim Pawlenty, the rest have been reelected by Minnesota voters. You are wrong again, deal with it.
