religion involvement is good for young people.

Actually, getting a lot of attention from adults is good for young people. Churches have a tendency to accuse secular organizations of pedophilia whenever they begin a youth group so there is not an accurate comparison. The religious teachings are as harmful as any wakko pseudo-science since they teach that magic is the primary force behind the universe and consciousness.
