There is a group of people who simply want to "get" Bush and Cheney, these documents will be used with glee, possibly inappropriately, by those parties and will be cited ad nauseam, in context or not, by others. The families of all those US military service personnel who lost their lives or have been maimed for life because they were sent to fight a war that Bush and CHeney lied is more concerning to me than the torture. The torture is also inexcusable because now we put another 4000 American people in the line of danger to be tortured if they are captured. HOw do you know there is a lot of background behind the memos. If you know then why shouldn't all of us know. Besides, interrogating through torture often leads us to the wrong clues. And that is what happened with our failed war on terrorism.
