I tried to check out this story, but only came up with references from the alternative press. Nothing from any major news source or international aid society, except this one which I find interesting: voanews.com Radiation sickness is inferred from the symptoms, but has anyone walked the beach with a simple Geiger counter ? Symptoms also sounds like chemical waste contamination of shoreline foodstocks, akin to Hg poisoning in Japan years ago. wg
