Pre-Internet it was a rare person who had even the slightest idea of what the Federal Reserve was, what it did and the extraordinary, unregulated powers it had. Now, it's becoming common knowledge among people who make the effort to educate themselves. A law is working its way through Congress to force the first audit of the Fed in over 50 years.
