cgh.to - friday night release, merger approved, no surprise as it was straight-forward so regulatory stuff is not really news i guess ... not much volume on either of them, waiting for what happens next, and that's likely a financing, think you're right on that

Haven't heard much on the election yet, luckily enough, so far all opinion is that the NDP doesn't stand a chance ... which is fine with me, i'm just saddened that the other idiots do - raw log exports are absolutely criminal while the reptiles of DC are penalising our lumber, and that business of not-selling the railway still stinks to high heaven ... back-room crooks or economically suicidal socialists, geez what a choice

ktn.v - interviews with Jim McDonald, behind this gee-shucks tone of voice lies a strong competence and a well-thought business plan - Message 25579126

ml.to - mostly out now, partly because of the financing, partly because it needs to digest the run, largely because i was feeling the need to raise cash to add gold and silver plays pretty soon ... if Coxe is right about the chinese buying at this level being a temporary factor, then copper could come off quite a bit ... if he's wrong, zinc plays should do well short-term and i'm covered pretty well with zinc/silver plays which could go both ways ... sold a small US bank and a bit of Suncor too, keeping several oilsands juniors because they're just too cheap and all takeover targets
