Private insurers are less efficient than our government insurers.
It's because they have 30% of their efforts devoted to denying coverage. Another hefty percentage is devoted to advertising, which benefits the customer not at all.

AS you say though, government insurers aren't as efficient as they could be. They have to devote a good percentage of THEIR efforts to verifying that you actually qualify for the coverage, largely because of whiners like you and Ten.

Universal coverage would eliminate even this inefficiency.
