That's why I'm giving him more time before I pass judgment. He's young and delving into the most complex job imaginable. With his back against the wall-thanks to the Bush train-wreck, O had little options as far as turnkey cabinet picks, so he went with whatever experience that was offered by his advisors, available and readily confirmed. What kind of government would be in place had he started choosing unknowns or controversial picks? With Congress coming off such a heated election, things could have completely crumbled. I think he's hoping to stabilize things by not rocking the boat before he starts repairing. He's too easily succumbing to the advice being given by those he's entrusted. The costs of his misplaced trust may be irreversible and have gotten well out of control.
