Outbreak of meningococcemia in Darwin, N.T. Australia. Too bad trial centers don't include locations in southern hemisphere. Would help make accrual rates more constant. Horrible disease. Hope BPI works. BTW the 16 year old girl in Orange Cty. Ca. did not test positive for meningo. but the news reports said this was still the suspected disease. Did not understand this.
