Why was the uptick rule re. the stock market, something that FDR put in place decades ago to stop naked shorting, suspended 4 years ago. So had we stopped naked shorting, Madoff wouldn't have been able to put together his Ponzi scheme? What does naked shorting have to do with Madoff? Your ignorance is not an excuse for not being better informed.
